I like to think of myself as “tri-coastal.” I was born in Virginia and spent my early years moving between the New York City area, the San Francisco Bay area, and Austin. I graduated with a degree in International Relations and Arabic language from the University of Texas-Austin (Hook ‘em Horns!).
My path to communications has been an interesting one. Before joining the INK team, I used my background in Arabic as a counterterrorism analyst at the New York District Attorney’s Office focusing on social media, research, and analysis. After two years at the DA’s office, I wanted to use my background in social media and research to communicate stories for businesses.
At INK, I support the comms team, focusing on social programs and content development. I love the creativity, the fast pace, and the passion at INK for using communications best practices to reach the right audience with the right message at the right time.
In my free time, I am always searching for the best taco and queso (recommendations always appreciated), biking around the city, or stuck on the subway due to train traffic ahead.
