Call me Mya. I’m a proud Southerner, bookworm, and general PR enthusiast. Being an AE at INK means I help support my client teams in whatever way possible. Whether it be social media, content creation, or media relations, I’m all over it.
Before INK I attended Rice University, where I received a rigorous education in English Literature and beer. During college I began honing my PR skills through a diverse set of experiences in agency, education and non-profit settings. Then came graduation. And as we all know, it is a truth universally acknowledged that a young PR pro in possession of a degree, must be in want of an internship. Happy circumstances led me to intern with INK, and the rest is history.
I love that my job lets me flex my creative muscles everyday. PR never gets stale, and it always brings the challenging situations that I thrive in. Most of all, I love that my job has such high returns on passion and enthusiasm. There’s no better feeling than giving my all and scoring a big win for a client.
When I’m not at work, you might find me climbing up a mountain or mowing down hordes of aliens (I love video games.) I have a great memory for pop culture references, I have an obnoxious laugh, and I’m guided by ambition. My motto: Onward and Upward!
