Growing up in Chicago, I’ve seen enough snow to last me a lifetime. After a particularly chilly day when the local weatherman warned us that spending more than 10 consecutive minutes outside would result in frostbite, I decided to move to sunnier skies.
In between Chicago and INK, I attended the University of Miami (Go ‘Canes), studying broadcast journalism and sport administration. After graduating, I moved cross-country to Los Angeles, where I had stints at PR firms Hill & Knowlton and Golin, and got to work with a range of clients, from adidas to Dos Equis to Nintendo. I did a little bit of everything — crafted copy, built editorial calendars, worked with media, and whatever else needed to be done.
That willingness to take on anything has served me well at INK. I specialize in making our clients really shine through their content. This takes many different forms: maybe it’s showcasing how big data can accurately predict hits in the music industry. Perhaps it’s crafting a one-pager on the best way to knock down silos within a company. Or it might be shooting a video on running tips to turn even the most uninspired couch potato into a pro. I’m also one half of our podcast hosting duo — Kim and I love meeting and chatting with new people, so drop us a line!
Outside of the office, you’ll likely find me doing something audio or video-related, whether it’s karaoke, re-dubbing an episode of the classic Nickelodeon show Legends of the Hidden Temple (YouTube JayKayCreations1), jamming with my band (Burning Years), dropping some rhymes under my hip-hop alias (Joseph Currency), or writing a new short story or novel (Short Stories for Short Attention Spans). Hopefully that’s enough self-promotion for you.
