I’m originally from Florida and have spent much of my life battling insane humidity, sweating through “winters,” and trying to convince fellow Floridians that the beach is actually terrible. After graduating from Florida State University (Go ‘Noles!) with a BA in Media Communication Studies, I worked as an in-house Marketing Manager for a digital agency before packing my car and moving to Austin on a whim.
Before INK, I was splitting my time between copywriting at a B2B tech startup and freelance writing for companies specializing in everything from IT, tech, computer science, photography, food, and health & fitness. Writing for a variety of industries taught me the importance of research, curiosity, and refining content to fit each client’s unique brand.
At INK I get to write cool stuff with cool people who push me creatively and professionally, and that’s the dream. I love working with a team who hustles and does whatever it takes to deliver the best content for every client, every time. Agency life has taught me no two days are the same and that with a little organization and focus (and maybe a good playlist), you can get a lot done.
In my free time I like to feed my obsession for all things fitness. I used to teach spin classes and can usually be found at the gym, taking way too many dance classes, or nerding out about macronutrients and nutrition. I’m also very fond of my two dogs, adventuring (read: eating and drinking) around Austin, and spending all of my money watching live comedy. My boyfriend’s okay too.
