As a Colorado native, I have spent many years trying to convince myself I like hiking but still hating it once I’m there. I feel like it is a requirement to love to hike if you live here, but I am a firm believer that there is no such thing as a trail with an easy rating.
Nevertheless, I have lived in (and loved) Colorado almost my whole life, only leaving to go to college at the University of Kansas where I earned my degree in communication studies and spent an abnormal amount of time watching basketball. After graduating, I came back to CO and dabbled in some internships before getting my PR start at Matter Communications. I worked with all kinds of client at Matter from skin care to cybersecurity to STEM toys and soon realized I wanted to be in this industry for the long haul.
My love of media relations, storytelling and a challenge brought me to INK, and in my role here, I get to focus on all of those things. There are few things I enjoy doing more than collaborating on a killer media campaign or brainstorming how to get a client’s message across in the most concise, clear way, and getting to do that every day with passionate, kind and really smart people is a dream.
Away from the office, you can find me attempting to learn to cook, pretending my 50-pound dog, Ice, can fit on my lap and coaching a high school swim team in Boulder.
