Lots of Love for Austin

INK has a long-time love affair with our hometown. We love the soul of this big-small town. The weather (most of the time), the music, the food, the people, and of course, who could forget our beloved Longhorns? But as Robert Rodriguez was quoted saying , “People don’t live in Austin to work, they work to live there.” Like many Austin companies, especially those in the technology sector, the majority of our business originated outside of Austin. Our first and longest-standing client, the Bluetooth SIG, is based in Seattle; others have come from all over the country and world. But about four years ago, that started to shift and while maintaining our valued clients in other cities, we began adding more and more great Austin brands to the INK roster. Today, over half of our clients are based in Austin: CSID, Mutual Mobile, MapMyFitness, Volusion, among others (and several we’ll announce over the next few weeks!). We also now have the great honor to work with the Austin Technology Council (ATC), representing 1600 Central Texas tech executives who come together to ensure our technology and life sciences industries continue to grow and thrive. We are so proud to be teamed up with Julie Huls, Grover Bynum and Valerie Cason, who work so hard every day to make a difference in the city and business community we love.

So on Valentine’s Day, INK’s heart goes out to Austin. Thanks to all of you – our clients and friends – who make this a great place to live AND work!

PS – over the next few weeks, leading up to SXSW, INK will roll out a series of “Best of Austin” lists – you know, best outdoor patios, best breakfast tacos, best dive bars. Things to which we speak with much authority.
