#INKthink: What inspires you in 2015?

We have a tradition here at INK. At the start of every year, INKers choose a word that will guide their behaviors, their motivations and their creative juices for the year. Our VP Blair introduced us to this idea in 2012 after she read an inspiring post by local writer, Tolly Moseley, who began doing this in lieu of resolutions. Last week, our INKers shared their word for 2015 – now it’s your turn!

Instead of compiling a list of resolutions, we would like to invite you to choose your 2015 word and attend the first #INKthink Twitter chat of the year.

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. CST, share your lunch break with us and chat away with the hashtag #INKthink. Choose a word that you want to focus on during 2015 such as inspire, achieve, create, etc. During this power hour, we’ll expand on why you chose those words and how it applies to your business or organization.

The hour-long chat will explore goal-setting questions such as:

  • How do you typically set New Year’s resolutions or goals?
  • What is your 2015 word of the year?
  • Why did you choose this particular word?
  • Get specific – how will you turn this word into action in 2015?
  • How do you plan on applying this word to your personal life? Your professional life?
  • What goal-setting methods work best for you?

To participate in this #INKthink, all you need is a Twitter account. You can follow the hashtag #INKthink and tweet your questions and comments to the group by including the hashtag in your tweets. We highly recommend answering questions by replying to the question. This keeps our conversation in one tidy stream, making it easier to refer back to answers in the future.

What’s next?

We’ll have Twitter chats through out the year, so stay tuned for February’s #INKthink chat topic. You can also tweet us your ideas about a topic you would be interested in for the next Twitter chat!

One response to “#INKthink: What inspires you in 2015?”

  1. […] My overall resolution is to be more kind hearted. My new employee has everyone come up with a word to guide them for the year. My word is embrace. With so much change happening in my life I want to embrace every opportunity I have to grow. If you have a word, join our twitter chat on Wednesday #INKThink! […]
