Ep. 24: IoT Time with Stacey Higginbotham

Today’s INKcast episode features Stacey Higginbotham, the voice behind Stacey on IoT, tech journalist, and all-around connoisseur of connected devices. We’re also joined by Blair Poloskey, INK’s vice president and partner, as well as a master of all things Bluetooth, who recently penned her own take on the “over-hyped IoT.” We chat about their experience at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the exciting development of voice technology, and how journalism plays a role in keeping the consumer tech industry running smoothly.

We work with a number of clients that are contributing to the IoT in plenty of exciting ways. For instance, CURB is a full home energy monitoring system, and Plott aims to revolutionize the way we design and realize creative projects with intelligent tools. With other clients such as Bluetooth SIG, Cassia, CSID, we love discussing the power of these devices and the potential that’s on the horizon.

And since it’s Groundhog’s Day, we are talking about days in our lives we’d relive over and over again. Somewhere out there, Bill Murray is nodding approvingly.
