INK wins Ragan’s PR Daily Award for Best Pitch with SLO Down Wines

Over the last year, we’ve had the great privilege of working with SLO Down Wines and its hilariously irreverent founder, Brandon Allen. This week, we were awarded first place in Ragan’s PR Daily Award for the best pitch for our appropriately offbeat approach to telling this “slutty” winemaker’s story to the media. You can see the full write up from PR News here.

Brandon’s story is one that doesn’t come along every day and his continued energy and authenticity for his wine and craft, without a hint pretension, goes down real easy. Here’s his story in his own words (and yes he always talks in ALL CAPS).

Many thanks to Brandon, to creative director Matt Klug, and to the whole SLO team for bringing this story to life and allowing us to tell it with the freedom to get weird. Congratulations to the INK team of talented storytellers, Rachel Murphy and Allyse Sanchez, for knowing the typical wine trade approach would never do and executing your media strategy with such diligence and good humor.
