INK Clients Tackle SXSW
The first day of SXSW is always exciting, exhilarating, and for the past two years – wet. Which makes it challenging. None the less, INK clients and the INK team persevered. INK clients are doing some cool stuff – check it out:
- Brooklyn-based Sprezzat is giving caller ID on the smartphone a do-over. The app is so cool that the SXSW Accelerator, BetaKit and IDG News Service, and even Walt and Katie have noticed. The guys are meeting with media throughout the weekend and then presenting their case in the mobile section of the Accelerator on Monday. Fingers crossed for a big win!
- MapMyFitness opened its doors for lovers of its suite of apps on Friday and a little rain didn’t stop folks from enjoying the hospitality. Wahoo tacos and demos of newly patented technology welcomed Fast Company, MSNBC, AppAdvice and a steady stream of others. And if you’re needing some exercise around town this weekend, join MapMyFitness and Brooks each morning at 7:30 am for the Brooks Run downtown. Keep an eye out for our INK alum Allison Glass if you need anything – she’ll be the one wearing a fake mustache and cowboy hat (can’t decide if she just likes that look or if it’s for the Cowboy Run theme).
- CSID will be keeping your happy hour happy – and secure – on Sunday evening at the Rattle Inn. Guests will get “protection kits” that will feature – unfortunately, necessary – ponchos.
