Bring on 2016
It’s hard to believe that 2015 is already coming to an end. This was a big year for me – I started my first big-girl job at INK and found a wonderful support system that has helped me grow both professionally and personally. I used to scoff at New Year’s resolutions – believing that goals should be set and adjusted all year long rather than just on the first of the year, but as I enter my sophomore year of being a “real adult,” I’ve come to look at New Years as an opportunity to start over and refocus on the things I want to accomplish. This year, I have a two resolutions: I want to start reading before bed instead of watching Netflix and train for a marathon.
But enough about me, what are my fellow INKers hoping to accomplish in 2016? Here are a few aspirations for the new year:
Amanda: Stay in touch with my friends and family back home by taking more pictures of my adventures in Colorado to share on Instagram and Facebook.
Joey: Outside of kicking butt at work, I have two: have a least two podcast guests per month and finish my book of short stories.
Cassie: Run at least one 5k a month!
Rachel: I want to improve my typing and brush up on my Spanish. I’d also like to take an art class of some sort, maybe pottery or sketching. Since moving, to the U.S., I’ve always made it a priority to see as much as the country as possible. Santa Fe, New Mexico and Asheville, North Carolina are on the hit list for 2016!
Kris: My resolution is to get back into yoga to help reduce stress in 2016!
So there you have it. What do you hope to accomplish in the new year? Let us know in the comments or tweet us at @INK_PR!
Wishing you a fun and safe New Year’s Eve, from all of us INK.
