And The Award Goes To…

This post comes from INK alumna Rachael Genson.

It’s been a busy few months at the INK offices. So busy, in fact, that if you were to stop by our office you’d likely see all of INK’s employees furiously typing away on their keyboards, eyes completely focused on a computer screen.  Hey, what can we say? We love doing work for our clients, and we’ll gladly spend all day doing it if it means a happy client. Despite the constant craziness that has been the INK offices, I thought I should take a quick break to share some exciting news: Last week, we found out that INK received two Certificates of Excellence in the SABRE Awards! We’re being recognized for our pro-bono work with Run For The Water in 2012, as well as for our awesome new website redesign, and we can’t stop smiling about either one.

Put on each year by the Holmes Report, The SABRE (Superior Achievement in Branding and Reputation) Awards honors campaigns and PR efforts that demonstrate the highest levels of strategic planning, creativity and business results.  Not only are the SABRE Awards one of the most entered PR awards in the country (we’re talking thousands of entries), they are also judged by an elite panel of PR industry leaders, so being acknowledged with this award in any capacity is such an honor for all of us at INK.

But more than our own personal happiness, winning an award as prestigious as the SABRE Awards provides great validation for both our clients and us. We’re very proud of the work we do (and we think our clients are pleased with it as well), but having an esteemed panel of judges who spend day after day also entrenched in the PR world recognize INK’s outstanding work serves as a small reminder that all the aforementioned time spent staring at a computer screen and furious typing on a keyboard will be worth it in the end (for both us and our clients). Plus, it’s hard to complain when you’re included amongst such a quality group of PR agencies across the nation

Now, if you’ll excuse me, it’s time to get back to work so that we can snag even more awards in the future!
