An Ode to Harvest and Teamwork
Before the two of you came along, I was lost; confused; overwhelmed.
I didn’t know my 0.5 from my 00:30.
I didn’t know my to-do from my is-done.
I filled notebook after notebook with barely legible scribbles. Check marks here and cross-outs there. Carrots and parenthesis galore.
Every other page, a list for the day.
Every other page, an analog version of a real-time timesheet.
“I’m organized!” I’d say. But that was far from the truth.
But you, my friends – you know how to do it right.
You’ve allowed me to relax! I can focus on my work while you record my time.
You’ve opened my eyes to digital checkmarks, satisfying strikethroughs and… dare I say it… organization by due date.
No more “what did I do today, again?”
No more “shoot, I had no idea that was due.”
It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for me.
And I’m feeling good.
